Born and raised in the heart of the San Joaquin Central Valley (Fresno, CA) before relocating to Glenn County in late 2018, Ashlee has always found home amongst the agricultural community.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Fresno in 2013, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Ashlee spent ten years working in the private sector financial services industry, educating and assisting local farmers and ranchers in wealth stewardship. Weeks after the devastating Camp Fire, Ashlee relocated to Glenn County and transitioned to public administration, where she has been a self-proclaimed “public servant with a lion’s heart” ever since.

Ashlee is also a California commissioned Notary Public, an ordained minister and amateur horticulturist. She has always been fueled by her love and concern for the natural environment, gravitating toward causes that allow her “to speak for those with smaller voices than my own”.  A page turning, avid learner and fact finder, Ashlee can usually be found buried in a book or otherwise consuming whatever information she can get her hands on, if not writing on a variety of topics herself.  She also enjoys landscaping, kayaking and spoiling her loved ones however she can!
